Xavier Lau is the
Director, Enterprise Sales, Northeast Asia at CommScope. He is responsible for
sales strategy in Northeast Asia including South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong,
Taiwan and Macau.
Xavier has over 18 years of experience in the
Telecommunication and data center industry. Prior to CommScope, he was with TE
Connectivity since 2000. He started with AMP NETCONNECT sales responsibilities
in Hong Kong and Macau before he took on the global accounts responsibilities for
Asia Pacific.
In 2011, he relocated to Singapore to build and lead a
new team to grow the integrated AMP NETCONNECT and ADC/Krone brand through
channel management and project account engagements in Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines
and Pakistan. In 2015, after CommScope’s acquisition of TE Connectivity’s
Telecom, Enterprise and Wireless Businesses, he returned to Hong Kong to take on
the leadership role to manage casino projects in Macau in addition to his Hong
Kong and Taiwan sales responsibilities.
He holds a Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing
Management from the University of Hong Kong and earned his MBA from the Hong
Kong University of Science and Technology.
