Featuring the Ruckus ZoneFlex™ R710 access point (AP), the world’s first Wi-Fi AP based on Wave 2 features of the 802.11ac standard that extends Wi-Fi to enable multi-gigabit Wi-Fi performance and unprecedented capacity, the new Ruckus incentive program offers a cash back rebate to enterprises for replacing each existing Wi-Fi AP of any brand with either a new ZoneFlex R710 Wave 2 indoor and/or ZoneFlex R500 dual-band (2.4/5 GHz) 2x2:2 802.11ac Wave 1 indoor AP, the latter of which is a proven leader in mid-range 11ac Wave 1 performance. The Ruckus ZoneFlex R500, included in the incentive offer being announced today, outperformed all competitive 11ac Wave 1 access points included in the tests conducted by CARNet.

Pricing and Availability
For both current and future Ruckus customers in North America (U.S. and Canada), the company is offering a 35 percent discount off the current MSRPs for both the Ruckus ZoneFlex R710 and ZoneFlex R500 access points ($1,295 and $645 USD, respectively), plus a $200 (USD) cash back rebate for each ZoneFlex R710 purchased, or $100 (USD) for each ZoneFlex R500 purchased. The rebate may be claimed by returning the equivalent number of access points (either Ruckus ZoneFlex or any other brand) to Ruckus Wireless. Any business in North America (U.S. and Canada) that wants to trade in their access points to upgrade to Ruckus Smart 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology is eligible for the program.
