INCITS T11

incits_logoThe InterNational Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS) develops standards governing the security, storage, transfer and management of information.

As a working group within INCITS-and of particular relevance to the cabling industry-Technical Committee 11 (T11) is responsible for developing standards for Fibre Channel, which continues to be widely deployed in enterprise storage networks. The data storage needs of enterprises continue to grow, and T11 is keeping pace, developing increasingly higher Fibre Channel data rates.

Within the T11 working group, CommScope actively participates in the T11.2 subcommittee that focuses on the physical layer of Fibre Channel.
