One Day, Many Topics - What’s Next for Intelligent Data Centers and Buildings?

As data growth demands continue at a rapid pace, new technologies are enabling companies to cost effectively design their network. David Oldenbuttel talks about an exciting opportunity to learn more about these technologies and how they can benefit enterprises.

Customer WorkshopThere has been a great deal of interest about the operational value being realized through data center infrastructure management (DCIM) in addition to sensor networks and intelligent LED lighting solutions. As data growth demands continue at a rapid pace, new technologies are enabling companies to cost effectively design their networks to meet these demands and do so with maximum efficiency.

To offer expert perspective and answer questions about handling these demands, CommScope is hosting nine one-day customer workshops throughout North American to provide a comprehensive view of trends, technologies and best practices from multiple technology leaders in the data center and smart building industries. The CommScope road show is an “Innovation@Work” event designed to help businesses and facility managers stay ahead of technology and operational issues they face every day.

The customer event is one of the best opportunities for industry leaders to come together to learn, collaborate, and network with their peers. We also use this as a forum to learn about the challenges being faced by companies in the market and ways we can better serve our customers in the future. Attendees will hear from subject matter experts on key aspects needed for successful implementations for different types of solutions and a best practices approach to advancements in network technologies for data center environments. Other event discussions include the advancements in technologies in support of 10, 40, and 100 Gigabit Ethernet networks. If that isn’t enough, there will also be presentations on current wireless technologies to support the growing BYOD trend, and strategies for implementing intelligent building systems.

CommScope will be joined by experts from Brocade, Avago, Aquantia and IBM to present their views and strategies on a number of technology areas for both the data center and intelligent building environments. Our newest members of the CommScope team, iTRACS and Redwood Systems, will also be in attendance.

If you haven’t done so, I encourage you to reserve your seat today. The “Innovation@Work” workshop begins October 1 in Kansas City, MO, followed by stops in Chicago, Seattle, New York, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, Santa Clara, Calif. and Toronto.

The event is free of charge. To register or learn when the road show stops in your area, click here or visit CommScope.com.
